Day 1 at the cooking class

1. Chef Ryan hates me just because I am young

2. Whit is an annoying-yet-still-hot guy

3. Wait, I have Evan. But...is he my boyfriend?

Perhaps, it can describe what Rachel felt on her first day at the cooking class.

And then, here comes another thing to worry about. By a 'little accident', Rachel notice there's another house cleaner service in their neighborhood. Not good, though her mom quite optimistic that they have loyal customers.

It's getting worse when by a misunderstanding event, Rachel made her mom lost another client. Now, she have to think, what to do to save her mom's business.

Beside that, she also need to improve her cooking skill as Chef Ryan is hard to please. Luckily, she have Marisol to help her work on 'the prank list'.

It suppose to be a secret, the prank list. Still, Rachel thought it won't do any harm if she shares to Whit about it. But, is it really OK? Plus, why she share about it to Whit, instead of Evan?

♥~

Though The Prank List is the 2nd book of series The Dirt Diary, I have no problem to follow the story. I read it in one sitting and can't wait to read the other books from this series.

My favourite quote from this book are:

"Don't worry. It'll all work itself out." - page 33

I figure the prank list is like a hand grenade. I hope I never have to use it, but in battle, sometimes you have to do awful things to protect the people you love. - page 77

My favourite character in this story is Mr. Leroy. He is adorable! Just fyi, he is one of Rachel's mate at the cooking class. He joined the class as the eldest member and he did it to make himself busy, as his lovely wife just die.

"I'm not vying for a spot in the bake-off, but I figured I should at least show off what I've learned" - page 184

Mr. Leroy also made me can't wait to find my penguin ;)

Have you read my interview with the author of this book? If you haven't read it yet, you can check it here.
